Goodbye, kittens. See you around. Yippie's kittens are 4 months old and leaving for new homes. We're gonna miss them, but we look forward to seeing them all again, in show halls and in living rooms. The last pictures of Starlight are online - and there are new pictures of Trille and Candyman, too. Kitten pics My, how time flies! There are new pictures of Yippie's kittens online - and on up'n'coming, you can meet Trille, our new girl :) New kitten pics A few pictures of Bops' kittens are now online. They're 6 weeks old and completely adorable! Kittens at last Finally, we have kittens again, and it's a joy. Pictures will follow one of these days. Also, we've updated girls and up'n'coming - and we're counting down to the next Viking Cats show in Strib, Denmark. Be there, or be square! :) Another wonderful show This week-end Viking Cats put on Denmark's third TICA show, and we had a great time there! Candyman at the tender age of 9 mos took home 7 out of 10 finals and more than 1300 points, and is thus our very first homebred One Show Grand (actually, he's DGC going on TGC already, since Denmark counts as isolated area). Good boy! No kittens, watch this space for plans The last of Yippie's kittens have left and we have no available kittens. However, we do have plans for the remainder of 2009 and the winter 2010, so watch this space for updates. :) Best In Show Candyman was Best In Show only 4 days into the youth class. Enjoy - we know we do! Denmark's second TICA show This week-end was Denmark's 2nd ever TICA show, and we had a great time there. Lots of fun and gorgeous cats. The girls did really well in the kitten class, both taking several breed wins and finals in a respectable kitten class. Good job! Hat trick! Back from a wonderful show in Lictenfels, Germany - TICACats always puts on superb shows, and this was no exception. The girls did really well with several breed wins and finals, and the stellar moment was having three littermate sisters in tortie and torbie placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Breed in a class of 18 MC kittens. Woohoo! Happy New Year Happy New Year, everybody! We've updated our homepage to reflect some recent changes: Thunder is now a happy neuter, Bongo and Yippie are growing up and we have some new girls in training. Last kitten pictures Just in time before the kittens move away to their new homes, we've had a photo session. Letting them go is no fun... Time flies Gloria's kittens are 10 weeks old already! Hello, goodbye It's official - our TICA cattery name is here and we are leaving FIFe. So long, and thanks for all the fish. Budapest This past week-end we were in Hungary for the first time, and we had a blast! Wonderful hospitality and outstanding service - we can't thank the club enough for taking such good care of us. We'll be back! Happy Holidays! We finally got around to taking pictures of the kittens. Whew, what a task to convince these guys to sit quietly for a minute! All four are tentatively reserved. Santa Claws in Barleben, D This past week-end we were at a show in Barleben, Germany, arranged by TICACats. What a lovely show - nice people, nice show hall, nice judges, nice food, and, of course, nice cats! We had a wonderful week-end there. Finke's kitten Finke was bred soon after her last singleton - only to give us another. A girl this time, pretty little thing. More to follow. ABQ, NM I went to the Annual in Albuquerque, NM, and brought back RW DGC MTNest Jackman. Welcome home, sweetie! Wonderful trip, wonderful people and a wonderful cat. And Gloria's kittens are here - 4 boys... No more How much more shall we bear? Wilma, my soul mate, my love, my eternal companion, is no longer here. She passed away very suddenly, only 6 years old. She was heterozygote for the cMyBPC3-mutation. Bongo Bong Finke's kitten is here. A black singleton boy. Sigh, we don't need another boy, but he sure is cute... RIP, Bisse - we love you Our hearts are broken - Bisse, our first MC, is no longer with us. His liver failed shortly after his 12th birthday. We miss him a lot. RIP, Tulle Two Tongue Tale, Tulle, died suddenly last night at the vet's office. She'd had some problems with constipation, but neither the vet nor we had realized how serious her megacolon was becoming. We'll miss her dearly. Happy Holidays Merry Christmas. The insurance case about the floors is still not solved. Flood We've been flooded, and now we have to change the floors in the entire house. What a bummer! Computer crash :-( Bad computer crash. Literally! The laptop fell from the kitchen counter to the tiled kitchen floor, and we're trying to save what can be saved. We had a blast at TICA's Annual Show in Hannover, where Castle Rock King Ink ended up 4th Maine Coon Kitten (in a class of 52), 6th LH Kitten (in a class of 80) and 13th AB Kitten (in a class of 130). We're very proud of our li'l black boy. |
